Specifics of Planning Case No.  2021/0641

In Mid-March 2021, Schroders Real Estate Fund submitted a planning application to Wandsworth Borough Council regarding the future for Battersea Studios 3.

The applicant requests planning permission for:

Demolition of existing two storey plant and telecommunications structure and redevelopment of part of the site to provide a 10 storey building (40.9 metres), plus basement, comprising 546 sqm light industrial use (Class E) at ground floor, 4,905 sqm

No significant contact was made between the applicant and the surrounding residential community prior to the application being submitted. Wandsworth Borough Council informed local residents of the submission of the Planning Application 2021/0641 and opened the forum to comments.

At the end of the initial comment period, a total of 126 comments were submitted by the local community. 122 Objections to the proposal, 4 General Comments.

As of July 2021, revisions have been made to the planning proposal and re-submitted. The revisions address planning application requirements not the concerns of the residents. A further 4 Objections have been submitted by local residents.
